This game was awesome. The platforming was great and the visuals did not disappoint. I went into it expecting a short, forgettable game and damn was I wrong. The quests force the player to travel and explore different areas while not being so absolutely boring. This is achieved by small riddles that a player must solve and by providing a faster way to get from one "biome" to the next. Though sometimes I had to look online for some help, most of the game went smoothly (i could not figure out the Democracy quest for a long time). I highly encourage you to play the game if you're looking for a mildly challenging Metroidvania game with a hot cast. I do hope that the studio decides to add onto this game because i had a blast and would love to continue the adventure, whether in DLC or in a sequel.

Desperately wishing for the auto surrender to be removed. Like seriously, i was just looking away for a bit and my timer is still at 400 seconds why cant i use my time? Good game overall though.

Play as a lovable girl fighting her way through Mafia and more in order to get her ship back up and running. Enjoy her shenanigans as you go through a total of 5 worlds (7 with DLCs) with cute characters and interesting boss fights. A Hat in Time features collectibles and Community maps that will keep a player entertained even after completing the main story!

Dope game! Can't wait for the full game to come out!

Yes, the game is simplified compared to the previous installment but i still enjoy it. The online aspect of the game is pretty smooth and is pretty fun. It can get challenging later on and is great to learn some of the options you've been neglecting up til then.
