Giveaways for Good People who like Turn-Based Games

This is a group that will primarily focus on giveaways for CRPGs, SRPGs, Strategy Games, Rogue-likes, and basically any genre so long as the games are largely turn-based or require some amount of planning or management. (War, JRPGs, Management, City/World/Civilization building games, etc.)

No member is forced to giveaway games for the group. There is no quota. All of the initial giveaways will be created by myself, ProtagorasEmber. If members feel like giving something away specifically to this group only, that is more than fine. If you have a game that falls into the style of game we are focusing on, message me on Steam and we will go from there.

Thoughtful = Kind and considerate people I have encountered on Steam, Steam Gifts, online and IRL, and friends of friends who are decent people.
Thinkers = People who enjoy the above mentioned genres and aren't looking for mindless destruction. FPS, Sports, and Fighting games are fine but this group's focus is going to be games where you can sit down at your desk, on your couch, at the coffee shop, or wherever you play games, sit back and relax with a beverage or a smoke, and take your time as you contemplate your next move.

When GA's are created for this group, PLEASE, look at the game on Steam and honestly ask yourself, "Am I going to play this game?" If the answer is "No", then don't enter. This isn't a group about collecting an obscene amount of games that will never get touched, adding the hundredth game to an existing backlog, or picking up games just to farm the trading cards. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of doing that myself, because I have done it. I'm saying that the purpose of this group is to create Giveaways where we are all a little less selfish and honest with ourselves and where we occasionally bow out of entering to win a game that we know in our hearts that we are not really interested in.

And hopefully once this group gets off the ground, so long as it doesn't wither and die immediately, I will open up the ability for members to invite their friends. For now, just relax and remember to check Steam Gifts or stop back at the group page from time to time and keep an eye out for our next Group Giveaway.
