Established in 2000, The TALON Clan is a select group that values community and friendship over aggressive recruitment and anonymity. We encourage respect, not only for each other, but for all gamers we come into contact with regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation. We try to avoid mainstream games that will be replaced each year by another carbon copy of the previous version, and instead associate with games that are a little less mainstream but a little more enduring. We like games that have depth, that innovate and that overall provide new and interesting gameplay experiences.

We are a casual clan. We don't charge fees and we don't demand that our members play so many hours a week. We feel that if you enjoy being in the clan then all of that takes care of itself.

We have a history of being involved in mapping and modding in various games as well as running servers. Most recently we produced a balance Mod for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars called "The TALON Mod". This mod was very well received by the community. The clan's motto is "Amicitia, Virtus et Victoria" which means Friendship, Virtue and Victory. That motto was chosen carefully and the order of those values is a direct reflection of what we think is most important to us as a clan.

Friendship is the most important. We don't want to play with people who we don't regard as our friends. The clan is about gaming and gaming with people who are fun to game with.

Virtue identifies our desire to play fairly and win or lose with honor, and absolutely without cheating in any manner. We expect our members to show a level of maturity and not be the kind of players who call others hackers or worse, but instead take a beating gracefully. And when they play well accept that others will call you a hacker, but see it as a compliment rather than an excuse to get into a slagging match.

Victory is always nice and we like to help each other improve our skills and also use teamwork as much as possible to achieve success.
