London's Calling

Founded in October 2013, we are an online roleplaying community that focuses on policing and crime in London, that plays Grand Theft Auto IV for PC using various third-party script and vehicle modifications (known informally as 'mods') that introduce new features to the game. But we're not just about policing - you can play as a paramedic, a fire-fighter or even a criminal! Most of these roles are focused around the police, but they're fun enough to play on their own!

We use the LCPDFR mod as our base (hence our status, an "LCPDFR clan"), and use many London-themed vehicle, pedestrian and environment mods from some of the best modders out there for GTA IV.

We run our gaming sessions using the "free-mode" in multiplayer. These gaming sessions are referred to as "patrols". Each official patrol lasts approximately 90 minutes, and is run around twice a week. Of course, members are free to run unofficial patrols for as long as and whenever they like.

During a patrol, we all run the LCPDFR mod on our own computers and respond to crimes (with special scripts such as the Bravehearts Policing Script) as we see fit, and sometimes help each other out - sort of like "police backup". Occasionally there'll be a special roleplay event, where someone will play as a criminal or a terrorist, and the other police players have to hunt them down. It's really fun!

We are one of the few "Met Clans" to actually use the vehicles that the real Metropolitan Police Service uses. We don't set straying from realism as our goal - on the contrary, we aim to make our games as realistic as possible, with advice and feedback from those serving in the real emergency services. Our modification packs feature vehicles and equipment of the finest quality available, fitting in with our games which are the most immersive and realistic out there. But anyone could say that they're the best, couldn't they? So, why not watch some of our exclusive in-game patrols to believe us!
