ABOUT Expert Campaigners L4D

Sucka-Free Survivors

This group is for Left4Dead (1 & 2) players who understand teamwork. We are named "Expert Campaigners" because that's what I had in mind when creating the group and inviting the members, but that's not all we do-- Many of our members prefer Versus, Realism, or what have you.

I have created this group as an easy way for us to send out mass game-invites to players we'd actually want on our teams. All group members are able to do this, and here's how:
1. First, go to the Experts' group profile page.
2. Select "schedule an event" in the actions list on the right-hand side of our profile page.
3. Give your event a title, and select "now" instead of picking a date and time. This is all the info your event really needs, the rest can be left blank.
4. Click "save"! When you do, all online members will see your event pop up, and can join your game through the friends list-- you'll need to add them first for this to work, but this can be easily arranged with a quick comment on the event.

So today the trailer was released or leaked, you decide, but aside from that it's out.

For those who haven't been keeping up or are uninformed, VALVe has been releasing one part of the four part comic each week. This comic is the gap filler between L4D1 and L4D2 telling the story about the L4D1 survivors and how they get down south.

I would have posted about the comic earlier, but here it is anyway.

The fourth part has not yet been released. It should be out sometime on Tuesday though.

The DLC will also be released on October 5th. So for now read the comic and watch the trailer, enjoy!

hope you guys know, you can all post events whenever you want to try to get a game together. Only myself and a few others have, but don't wait on us to do it! Especially since lately I've been playing with full groups of friends instead of needing to fill a game. Also, although I didn't realilze it until recently, if a group member who's not on your friends list wants to join you, you WILL have to add them for it to work. Takes a little more planning than I had in mind when creating the group, but still it should be useful.
