Not soldiers, no. Not exactly...

The name Envoy Corps has been taken from the Takeshi Kovacs novels by Richard K. Morgan. In these books the Envoys are a team of units specially trained to excel in combat situations where there is no familiarity with either their environment, or their own physical condition and abilities. This idea strikes me as fitting to a gaming context as we each take on a new form with each game we play.
