Hollywood Undead was formed in 2005 after the Deuce (Aron Erlikhman) and J-Dog (Jorel Decker) posted on MySpace a song called «The Kids». After receiving a positive response, they formed a band with his friends: Shady Jeff (Jeff Phillips), Johnny 3 Tears (George Arthur Reagan), Funny Man (Dylan Peter Alvarez), Charlie Scene (Jordan Christopher Terrell), Da Kurlzz (Matthew St. Clair ). In an interview with Shave J-Dog he said: "He who at the right time in the room and played on the instrument, became a member of the group" [4]. Regarding the name of «Hollywood Undead» J-Dog said that the first co-written song called «Hollywood» (later the name was changed to «No.5»), and the group planned to call a «Undead».
