We're a Small Community of Friends, Gamers, PC Enthusiasts, and Content Creators.

The official VSquid Steam group. Feel free to contact any of our admins if you have any questions, comments, or for any reason at all.

For the most part we're just a big group of friends with similar interests. We play games together, talk with each other, and really just do whatever we find interesting. This group is for the community we hope to build around the VSquid name. We'll do our best to accomodate the needs of this group as it grows and try to make it something unique.

We host a selection of game and voice servers that are open to our community and to the public. Feel free to join our Teamspeak server if you're looking for people to play with or even just someone to talk to. Many of us are connected daily and try our best to accomodate new people.

Switching To Discord

Hello everyone,

we're currently in the process of moving to Discord and switiching away from Teamspeak. As much as we love Teamspeak as a platform for voice communications the functionality we can get from Discord is leaps and bounds ahead of what we can do here. Not to mention things like the actually functional mobile app, friends list, offline messaging, etc. are all great features that quite a few of us want to utilize. We realize that we've had this server for many years now, and I'll continue to pay for the hosting and keep it maintained a bit longer, but there's now a better option out there that I believe we should switch too. I'm sure there will be some backlash from this, as least to a degree, but I would strongly encourage everyone to give it a try.

There's a thread in the Steam group as well as a channel in the server where people can make suggestions for changes, updates, etc. Organization is not quite the same as Teamspeak so I want to make sure we set it up in a way that everyone enjoys. The links to that thread and the server itself will be below.

If you have any questions I'll be in the Discord server today and I'll keep the app open on my phone. Also feel free to message either myself or another admin through Steam.

The Teamspeak Server Is Back Online!

Our hosting provider had an admin jump online and restart our server for us. Everything should be working fine now. Just a heads up that voice quality can be a bit intermittent after a restart. If anyone's running into any more issues with connectivity etc. feel free to message one of the groups admins.
