Airstrikes and cruise missile strikes are underway against Syria. Damascus is reporting explosions. If you weren't aware, please make yourself and friends aware of the situation as it develops, in the event this turns into more than a 'surgical strike.'

Anyone who spoils the new Star Wars movie for anyone looking forward to seeing it will be banned from the chat without further warning.

In general, deliberately spoiling movies or other media that one knows or generally should know people present may be looking forward to is against the rules, regardless of whether you personally like it or not.

You can post links to spoilers, but label them as such before linking them if context doesn't make it generally obvious. Mind that the URL doesn't spoil (e.g. kylo_kills_han.png). As always, discussing it or any other movie in general terms is fine.
