The end & a fresh start!

Hello UnicornZ!

This is the last announcement within this steamgroup.
We will no longer work under the flag of the Unicorn and there will be no RustyUnicornZ Rust server anymore. This has multiple reasons and I want to adress those reasons as short as possible. First off - we failed by choosing the wrong serverhost in the beginning, which caused some trouble. Then we went for Linux as OS for our rustserver, which led to some issues with our Rustadmin tool and caused disconnects. I don't want to talk about the DDoS-attacks we got..

These are all things that damaged our reputation as Rust server and led to a massive loss of player numbers. In the end we just couldn't fulfill our own expectations.

But all that doesn't change the fact that we won't stop to work as admins in this great but harsh game and we won't change anything in our admin team structures - but the location will change drastically and this is a great news in our opinion!

I'll take the chance now and want to thank everybody who supported us till the "end" and we hope that you guys will still support us in a different environment. Respect and a big thanks to you guys by all our admins!

Now to the good part. Most of you know that Preacher and me are the founders of European Survivors (a known Rust server) and had to pass it into other hands due to lack of time.

Long story short - we had great conversation with the current admins of European Survivors and recognized that we have similar expectations. The ultimate result ist that we will join the admin team of European Survivors as they are in need of active admins.

Rust Survivors is a vanilla Rust gameserver with a dedicated, mature and active admin team.
We are at the beginning and we need more players to can grow up this community so call your friends , talk about us and Let's grow together
In this steamgroup you will get information and updates about the server, detailed rules and event notifications.

Wipecycle:
Evry 2 weeks mapwipes Thursday (when the update come out)

Donations are appreciated:
We pay a lot for the server so we can provide the best gaming experience for our players. As you might have noticed we are pretty active and dedicated in our admin duties. We spend a lot of time spectating the server and communicate with all of you who experience any issue and we're not benefitting in any way. We just do it for our community.
