Hello UnicornZ!

This is the last announcement within this steamgroup.
We will no longer work under the flag of the Unicorn and there will be no RustyUnicornZ Rust server anymore. This has multiple reasons and I want to adress those reasons as short as possible. First off - we failed by choosing the wrong serverhost in the beginning, which caused some trouble. Then we went for Linux as OS for our rustserver, which led to some issues with our Rustadmin tool and caused disconnects. I don't want to talk about the DDoS-attacks we got..

These are all things that damaged our reputation as Rust server and led to a massive loss of player numbers. In the end we just couldn't fulfill our own expectations.

But all that doesn't change the fact that we won't stop to work as admins in this great but harsh game and we won't change anything in our admin team structures - but the location will change drastically and this is a great news in our opinion!

I'll take the chance now and want to thank everybody who supported us till the "end" and we hope that you guys will still support us in a different environment. Respect and a big thanks to you guys by all our admins!

Now to the good part. Most of you know that Preacher and me are the founders of European Survivors (a known Rust server) and had to pass it into other hands due to lack of time.

Long story short - we had great conversation with the current admins of European Survivors and recognized that we have similar expectations. The ultimate result ist that we will join the admin team of European Survivors as they are in need of active admins.

Try to restart steam/your game.

There's no reason that it shouldn't work.

We try to restart the server as well.

We try to fix it asap!

We just successfully wiped the server!

You'll find us by filtering the community server list by "RustyUnicornZ"

or you just go for the console and type in :

Hey everybody,

before the update hits, we will give you further details about the server/wipe and update.

First off, the updated sneak preview of rustafied :

Here you can have a first look on what might change in the upcoming update.

We will wipe the server as soon as the update is going live! There is no designated time for that to happen, so we can't tell you exactly when.

Another thing I want to adress is the increase of our player slots.
We will increase our player slots from 250 to 350.
And we will increase the mapsize sligthly to 4.6k.

We wont post the mapseed early on, since they update the procedural map generation, which means that no seed will stay the same after the update.
