I'm extremely surprised nobody has ever talked about this band. This is another industrial side project from the brainchild behind Axis of Perdition. This is Brooke Johnson's other industrial metal outlet. Influenced by the likes of early to mid Pitchshifter, Godflesh to hints of Fear Factory and 90s era Front Line Assembly.

The band popped up into the industrial metal underground scene with their first album in 1995. The band formed in 1990 originally as an electro-industrial group but shifted to metal due to the raise of the Wax Trax scene. Influenced by bands such as KMFDM, The Young Gods, Revolting ♥♥♥♥♥ to name a few. The band's sound sounds like a more heavier version of 3teeth with a dash of Ministry. It is also notable to mention Xerxes Non (Otto Cate) also worked with minor successful industrial metal band at the time Rorschach Test.

They Watch Us from the Moon

Cosmic Chronicles, Act I: The Ascension (2023)

They Watch Us from the Moon is a six piece band that plays some stoner/psychedelic rock/doom metal. You add to that the space theme that they have going, and you get a neat mix of space rock and doom, and although I'd say that most of the time they lean more towards the stoner/space rock side rather than the doom metal side of it, that sound is still definitely there, and especially noticeable in the slower tracks. Regardless of genre, it's pretty good music, lots of groove, harmonized vocals, and of course, psychedelia, very solid for a debut. So if you're into stonder doom and space rock, consider giving They Watch Us from the Moon a listen.

Bonehammer

(Black/Thrash/Heavy Metal)

Bonehammer is an argentinian quartet that plays some blackened thrash/heavy metal. It's what you'd expect a blackened thrash band to sound like, except with slightly more variety when it comes to tempo (they have the occasional slower song), and they seem to be getting a bit more melodic with each album. The band seems surprisingly underground from what I can tell: their sound isn't like, amazing or unique or anything, and I would be lying if I denied the whole edgy/darkness theme that is common to this genre gets so overdone in a couple tracks that it circles back into being silly and a bit cringe, but still, it never gets too generic or by the numbers, all in all their music is reasonably fun to listen to. So yeah, if you're into black/thrash metal and you'd like to hear some new tunes, maybe give Bonehammer a try.
