Lost in Serenity Gaming Community

Welcome to the Lost in Serenity Community Group.

Our Mission: We will provide a safe and inviting place for beginning and veteran player alike, without diminishing the challenge of the game(s) we play. We are a community first and game server(s) second.

We are a group of adult gamers who came together in the Summer of 2015. At this time, we play Ark: Survival Evolved together. We operate in a way which is friendly to new players, and non-competitive.

Lost in Serenity - Aberration is now Live!

As of December 12, 2017, we have an Ark: Survival Evolved Aberration server clustered with our Ragnarok server.

If you have the Aberration DLC, you can get to the Aberration server by going to any Obelisk. Once you access the pedestal in the center of the Obelisk base you can choose to go to another server. Lost in Serenity - Aberration should be available on that list. Select the Join with Survivor option.

Caution! Once you go to Aberration, it is not as simple to walk up to an Obelisk and teleport back. You must locate an Obelisk on the surface. FInding an Obelisk on the surface is dangerous for two reasons: 1) The surface is radioactive, and 2) you start well underground in most instances. Keep in mind you may not be able to feed dinos on Ragnarok, while on Aberration.

You can take gear with you. I have not tried taking dinos along. According to pre-release reports, you cannot take Ragnarok dinos to Aberration, but you can take Aberration dinos to Ragnarok. If anyone finds out different, let me know.

Your character has been re-spec'ed as a part of the new content. You will have all your levels and engram points you earned. You will simply have to re-assign them. For some, this is a boon. For others this might be a short invconvenience. I am sorry for any inconvenience. I did not know in advance this would happen.

Hey, do you like exploring to find rare items, or just your next handy tool. The FIrst ever Herbert J. Grubermann Albatross Scavenger Hunt has begun on Lost in Serenity.

Across the map you will find small vanilla storage boxes hidden. In each storage box is a note with a unique code. These codes can be collected and redeemed for some great prizes.

How great you ask?

  • Griffon Saddles in Primitive, Ramshackle, and Mastercraft varieties.
  • Spinosaurus saddles (which I have never gotten from a drop)
  • 10 fresh kibble of any type you desire
  • Admin coloring of one tame
  • A Quetzal Platform Saddle

How do I redeem the codes?

Simply write me a private message on Steam with the exact code (case sensitive), and I will verify that you have the codes to win the prize. Once I verify your win, I will arrange to get your prize within a day or two.

What do these code look like?

Each note will have a code line, a prize line, and the sequence number of the code. For example:

XXX123XXX456

Some prizes require you to turn in more than one code which will be marked with a sequence number, such as 1 of 3, or 3 of 5 etc.

How long do I have to redeem my codes?

I will be placing new code daily for the week of December 1 through December 8. Codes will be redeemable any time after that. Boxes will remain in place until their prizes have been claimed.

At the end of day 1 there are 14 boxes with codes on the map, and 5 great prizes available.

i know youre busy,cant see the best server on my favs tried all weekend im just asking as i know you have had probs with s plus .just miss playing on youre server.

Just an FYI. Due to issues with the server, it will be down until this evening (1/18). It seems that if I trust it in anyway to behave itself, it abuses that trust. We've had an issue with the S+ stuff disappearing again. Rather than keep having to back things everything, and restore, I intend to find the root cause. Unfortunately, the world does not run on dino kibble, or I would be independently wealthy and would not have to work for a living.

Not you, btom. This is a known bug with both Wyvern eggs on Ragnarok and Rock Drake Eggs on Aberration. The eggs are not clearing when their timer expires. I periodically clean them out, but would have to go in every day to keep on it. Check the timer before you take the egg to make sure it is not at zero.

Why do all the wyvern eggs keep spoiling so fast. I got all total this week 11 eggs. I had them all spoil before I could get out of the trench. What am I dong wrong?

I am building a modified trap for wyern milking. The code to close the front gate will be 1111 and posted on sign. It will be open to all to use. the only thing just turn gen on when using and off when finished. Tried putting a wind turbine but did not work all the time.
