In The Beginning...

Now maybe that was too close to home, and you're decidedly creeped out. Well, here's a slightly more far-fetched question that may prove that I cannot in fact read your mind.

No, this game is not actually *about* anyone named Icarus, and yes there are many guns. Not small, useless personal weapons, noooooo. We're talking big, honking artillery-type rocket-launching, flak-flinging, flame-spewing guns. Mounted on Airships! Ships! In the air! Who woulda thunk it?

Aaanywho. At the current stage of the game (pun not entirely intended), it's just a big ol' brawl between two teams of two ships. In a full game, that would be about sixteen players. One captain and three crew per ship, and the point of this massive gathering of people is to blow each-other's ships waay out of the sky.

It's great fun.

The game is still in beta, and patches balancing out the game are released very frequently. As of the last time I played it, there were quite a few kinks to work out. All the same, though. It's pretty freaking cool to fly around in a ship, flinging about words like "Port" and "Starboard" (still only 80% sure that those mean left and right, respectively) like you're born to them.

Should anyone wish a full review (and I find this doubtful, seeing as not many will see this), let me know, and I'll write one up.
