We've had a lot of positive feedback about bringing the tournament system back. The rules have been transferred from the announcement to the group description for easy access. If you are interested in hosting or joining a tourney match, please contact me or an admin, or comment on this post so we can easily coordinate it.

The Guild is planning to create a banned players list. Anyone will be able to add an unreliable player to the list who frequently quits. Players who refute this claim may be removed from the list.

Its been fun with the few tournaments we have been able to host, but if more hosts could volunteer, we could start new ones. If your unfamiliar with hosting rules, please read the group page. Post an event in the schedule event section. Try to limit games to 6 people, as it can be hard to hold a game together with more. Games should take place every sunday and be resumed everyday until a victor is decided, which should also be voted on at the end of every game period. Good luck, Guild Members. Remember to inform me of any tournament winners so I can promote them to player of the week, as usual.

To accomodate new tournaments, the Guild is wondering if any members are interested in becoming game hosts on Sundays. This will require:

- Arranging a set time for the game to take place in (games cannot exceed 5 hours at a time) and listing the event in the Guild's event page

- Preparing a list of 6 people to take place in the match

- Following up any unfinished games with another time the following Sunday

- Recording the winner

- Making sure the game starts and ends smoothly (it is required that the host take part in the game and monitor activity).

- Cancel the event if not enough members or outside players join

Hosts will be promoted to moderator inside the Guild upon request. To request becoming a host. leave a comment below this announcement.

WARNING: Failure to complete your duties as a host will not result in a kick, only a delay from future hostings. The Guild policy applies to all matches and must be followed strictly, though we take leniency in the difficulties of hosting a match.

Hosts retain the right to decide what game type they wish to use (3v3, solo, map type...etc.) but must ensure there is a back-up plan if the game falls apart.

The Guild will be establishing its own personal ranking system soon, to give players and tournament makers an idea of what skill category to arange people in. This will not affect membership or admittance to a tournament in any way, unless the match is a follow-up to a previous one.
