Defiance Ark ExtinctionCore | Founded 2017

We’d love to have you join our server, Defiance! We are a community of adult ARK survivors that engage in a PVE setting with wonderful admins; we see new players daily and welcome more!

We have 5 server nodes, which means you can travel between any of the 4 Ark maps (note: you only need to make one character to travel between worlds) plus participate in our server events on a special events map!

*The server is based in Chicago for minimal lag for anyone around the world! (just ask our large number of EU players)*
**We DO NOT WIPE our servers!**

Server hardware upgraded on 4/11

The server hardware came in Tuesday during the day, so we went ahead with the upgrade in the afternoon. Everything went quite smooth and we now have 4 nodes running with very few issues.

Changes to harvesting to alleviate lag

We have made adjustments to the resource harvesting rates to alleviate lag issues that have been occurring recently on the servers when high damage dinos harvest. The change will fix the amount of resources harvested and give you close to the same amount, but more hits will be required.

We are still tuning the settings and appreciate your patience while we address the issue.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas or just Good day for those who don't do holidays. Was just thinking about how I met some close friends cause of Tayls and his DG servers for ARK. It was sad to lose Tayls who to me was a friend and thank's to him I made several other friends here. For all those who I see still here who look familiar and those who I don't remember at all I wish ya all the best of this remaining year. Take care everyone from the DG family. =)
