A Social Total War Gaming Clan

Hello everyone, as many of you may have noticed I have not been around recently due to large amounts of time being required in my life. It’s kind of personal so I don’t wish to go into too much detail but I shall try and enlighten you all some more with some vague info. Basically, it’s an opportunity (a good one for anyone who was concerned) which has presented itself for me which requires not only extra work hours but it also has a habit of interrupting my leisure time too (example: returning home exhausted I attempt to play a game after having food, then the phone rings and I know I’ll be tied up for a few hours, not my idea of leisure time) although part of that is also due to a problem which I do not wish to go into more detail about as it is much more personal. Anyway, as you can see that would render me practically unable to find any time to do anything for the clan, let alone try and implement the reforms I was about to (some of you know more details about that) and without those reforms the clan is doomed anyway, as much as I hate to say it. Oh and if you couldn’t tell by now this text is basically a stream of consciousness and I’m being very blunt when I can. This lack of time has also made me unable to dedicate the required amount of time I believe an Admin should dedicate to a group and thus I feel like I am not giving the clan’s members what they deserve. The main reason I am writing this is just to confirm what most of you already thought as well as say what will be happening, and finding time to sit down and write this all at once has proved very difficult if people are wondering why it was delayed so much.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, time to get onto the important stuff. Regarding what’s happening to the clan, I don’t know details but Damo has told me he plans to change it into some kind of general LP clan which is basically for meeting others who watch his vids in the clan chat if people want to, and if no one does I suspect it would be shut down. As a result, I suspect this part of the forum will either be deleted or archived after my message has been around long enough for people to read it. Normally I would get specifics before writing this type of post, but I have not got the time and this lack of time frustrates me. I should probably take a break actually, in fact ill book one after this post. Anyway I will still be around ,although quite inactive, so if anyone has any questions just post them in this topic or PM me and I’ll make an effort to try and answer them.

Please accept my humblest apologies for having failed everyone but there is nothing I could do about it, this time I needed to prioritise life over attempting to enhance other people’s leisure time. I guess it was kind of selfish, but everyone needs to be selfish once in a while or they will be so selfless that they themselves will have a terrible life which thus will hinder their ability to help others later on in life. I hope to stick around on this planet for some time, better make sure I’m secure right?

On the issue of what people should do, well the way I see it you have two choices either stick around in the voice chat for the clan, or find a new clan to enjoy. If people are still wanting to go through with that SW:TOR guild then I can offer feedback and advice if you wish, can’t help with much else. If anyone wanted my input on anything at all, just send me a PM I’ll try and at least check those daily.

I’m terrible with goodbyes and endings, so all I’ll say is this: Farewell, thank you to everyone for all of those wonderful memories and experiences and it has been a great pleasure to talk with you all and compared to my past experiences, this community is wonderful and the best out of them all and that’s why I can’t bring myself to leave completely. Once again, I am deeply sorry that this sad turn has had to occur and I wish everyone the best in the future both online and offline.
