It's done.

It's FINALLY done.

This has been a journey and a half, but it's actually done.
I'm pretty happy with the final result, but I've still got a lot of work to do, specially with the spawn rooms, don't get me wrong, they're not the worst, but they're way too basic, feel like I could've added a bit more but I just wanted to finish the map already, didn't wanna leave you guys hanging any longer.

But if you could just bare with me for a second, I'd like to apologize:

I'm sorry this map took so long to make, not only am I a perfectionist, I went in with high expectations, I thought I could make a valve tier map... I could not. And so, I was confused and frustrated with myself.
I basically jumped into a giant pit and got mad because I broke my legs.

Just wanted to put that out there, because I felt like a genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, making you guys wait for so long. Felt like I let you down.

I know it's kind of a weird note to end it on, but I just really needed to put that out there.

I'm sorry if that came out as stilted or weird, I've always had problems expressing myself, whether it be textually or orally.

But that doesn't matter
I hope you like the map for what it is.

A break and an update (technically not a break, but you get the point)

So, as you might have noticed, it's been an absurdly long ammount of time since I last updated you guys on the state of the map. I think it's about time I do:

The map is like 80% complete, I just need to finish touching up the BLU area and rebalance some areas, I mean it this time, I'm extremely close to the finish line. This might seem weird considering I just said I'm taking a "break", but please bare with me.

I'm not the best with the hammer editor, if it wasn't already obvious, I struggle with the outdated UI, I suck at using inputs/outputs, I can barely use lights, etc.

So instead of stressing over the little details of my current map, I've decided to take a quick break from the map to try and actually get good with the program.

I'm making a simple, small, and compact little map inspired by a dream I once had.

I'll still keep you updated on the state of the map, and this'll only take like 2 days of my time at most, so it's not like I'm completely ditching Eaglestone in favor of some random liminal space map that'll get like 2 downloads on ModDB.

I promise I'll get the map done, just give me another wek.
