I will recommend this game if I don't have to install ubisoft's garbage launcher

Problem with Ubisoft Connect CD Retail Key. Has only appeared after 5 hours of gameplay.

It might be a good game, but i was not able to play it, as the ubisoft launcher needs my account information and the two factor authorization. This would not be a problem, but i never activated the 2FA and so i did not receive any recovery codes.
As the Ubisoft support is non existent, i did not receive help since April.

So.... stay away from Ubisoft - when you have problem, you will not get any help.

This is not a game. It's a job. After putting in over a hundred hours, I'm thinking of asking Ubisoft for a paycheck because the longer this game goes on, the more micro-managing of tedious supply chains across multiple islands and regions you have to do.

One island runs out of an important resource? You won't know until you start checking all your islands because the income turned red. Oh, there's a nearby island with the needed resource overflowing from the full warehouse? Lucky you if you find out, because the game won't tell you. You can buy commuter piers to automatically transfer people to other islands, but there's no way to automatically transfer goods from where they're abundant to where they're needed. You have to constantly check your trade routes and every single island to make sure things are running.

At my real job, once the logistics become complicated, I would hire someone to handle the minutiae. Why can't I hire managers to take care of basic trading of goods in the game? As you get deeper into the game, the work you put in doesn't get easier - it gets substantially more complicated because the supply chains for products are getting longer and longer. There are some people who enjoy keeping track of all this stuff. If you do, contact me, and I might hire you as my next bean counter.

Great game if you love city-builders. Things can get a bit convoluted once you are a ways into the story, having to figure out where and how to get all of the resources you need, which the list continues to grow. Can get overwhelming if you don't plan everything out properly.

good game itself, but ubisoft force you to be online, and go through their s*itty launcher, which btw, doesnt automaticly save your infos, and locks you account for a day if you try to connect too much when forgetting which password you've put (yes I have multiple passwords, picked one especialy for ubiscamers :p )

never buying a ubisoft related product EVER again.

Great game, worth picking up on a sale.
