This is a 1.0 game??? This game has some of the worst paced progression I've ever seen. Through normal play, you will not ever have to make or use about 80% of the tools, weapons, and armor available and still beat the game without noticing any difference. You can and probably should only use about 20% of your available tools, weapons, and armor and tame 20% of the available animals so what is that rest of that garbage for?
Since there is only 20% of a game here I'd say you should only buy the game if it's 80% off the normal price.

I like how the game developers keep coming out with updates to try and make everyone happy with the game.

I think this game is great. The only thing I truly dislike is the character creation, and armor sets. For such a cool setting, it truly lacks the most there. There are very few dark skin tone options, the hairstyles are few, and there are no casual clothing. There is so much they could do with such a whimsical setting which they just don't. There may be many who disagree, but I think putting all that charm of the world into the characters as well could offer so much more to garner an even bigger fan base. There is a reason final fantasy mmo is still so huge outside of the story it offers. Many people can create the most beautiful characters, taking photos of said characters, making art, and then posting it and getting more eyes on the game. Please take my words into consideration. I would love to be able to create fantastical characters that fit the world, and make living in said world all the more better!

game was fun until new bs crafting came out and made the whole game a resource grind, would not recommend game from people who do this bs, its like they thought it up over the weekend and then took a big turd on the game

This is a very solid game. I enjoy playing it with my friend. We played it in early release, and have recently started a new save now that 1.0 is out. I recommend it.

its just a parry simulator and the update made is so SO MUCH WORSE

The game is too stretched, tedious resource extraction and terrible graphics. It's interesting to play for a couple of hours.

Feels like a mid-2000's MMO, with uninteresting grind quests, no story, and really poor combat.

Honestly, this game is overall pretty fun. Does it have it's moments where I'm absolutely infuriated because I'm trying to sneak in the crypt and there are THOUSANDS OF FLY'S EVERYWHERE AND MY WOLF SPIDER THE MOST AGGRESSIVE CREATURE AND JUST SAYS F*** IT AND JUMPS IN THE PIT TO BE MURDERED BY 2 COCKROACHES AND EVERY FLY YOU COULD IMAGINE ONLY TO LEAVE ME WITH THE PROBLEM

Would love to see more work on the pet A.I. and pathing. They tend to just wander off randomly in one direction and will just run.... Like, they just take off. The whistle works but if you don't have it, well, better start running. The fighting alongside you could be fixed a little too. Maybe adjusting aggression levels would be nice. Having my wolf spider as a "aggro pulling tank" while the grasshopper is already programmed to run away.

As for the positive part, I've been playing this game with a few people on our own server and it's been quite the fun time. To what we thought was end game, was come to find out, we've only explored half the map and are currently venturing towards it. It let's you have free reign to do and discover as you please without limitation(aside from the flies and true end game things. There's one boss required to reach the end.) and giving a good story/quest line. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea for a story and game, but I will be putting quite a lot of time into this game as it updates. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for this.

Please nerf the flies. They are seriously the most OP thing as pets take full damage compared to player. I thought level 25 spider would be cool to roam with both times but I guess not.
