I liked the game and it's story. The gameplay is mid and the last fight is straight up BS.
A good experience nevertheless.

Story seemed decent (though I heard it gets worse later on), the English dub is pretty good (Hugo's VA being the exception), and the visuals are stunning. The gameplay however is a slog with the most cookie-cutter stealth and aiming mechanics imaginable. I couldn't force myself to continue after Chapter IV. Know what you're getting into before buying this game.

Very well told story! I really like the way the story is told, quite different to what I'm used to. It's also very consistent throughout the game, nothing feels unfiinshed.

Gameplay wise this is a bit different to what I'm used to, but it's quite fun after a while. Very innovative ways of influencing the environment to your advantage! I just had an issue with the one-hit dying that's especially annoying during the first and last boss fights where you have to start over again and again.

All in all a must-have story-wise.

It's just.. Okay. I saw so many reviews saying it was a masterpiece and absolutely do not agree with that. There were several times when the game reeled me in, had me thinking, "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is good." But there were a LOT of times when it was the opposite. The first 5 or 6 chapters are playing babysitter to an annoying stereotypical kid who's afraid and makes noise at the wrong times. Runs off when he needs to stay put, that kind of thing.

The combat system is different to a lot of games and does a good job for the most part but still feels clunky to me.

The voice-acting is okay, not great. Visuals are pretty cool and the environment is bleak and depressing which I really enjoyed.

The stealth aspects are.. Bad. You have to sneak around half the game, and the enemies do the typical "Oh, what was that noise." .... "Must have been the wind." Type thing after staring at the spot you were for 10 seconds.

Overall, it's definitely an enjoyable 6/10 experience.
