the best game i've ever played. I love the premise and the message it sends. a truly beautiful expierence that changed my life. I watched someone play this game years ago and it made me go into an environmental science pathway. Truly a masterpiece.

I'll preface this review with this: This is an art game first and foremost. If that isn't your thing, what this game has to offer probably won't click with you. That said, for the few hours I've played, it's a pretty decent time. The environments feel varied enough to warrant exploration, and the mechanics add some decent flavor. From a gameplay standpoint, though, Everything was a letdown. The idea of having every object in the universe be playable is a pretty interesting concept, but it leaves a lot of objects feeling functionally identical to one another, so the scope doesn't feel as grand as it ought to. If there had been, say, 100 unique, fleshed out objects, the game would probably be able to sell its concept better. Secondly, every object just feels so slow,it feels like the games padding itself. Most of your experience will be holding forward, hitting a to hear thing's thoughts, changing into different things, and listening to alan watts talk. Now, thats not nessecarily a bad experience, but its not quite compelling to many. Pick it up on sale, give it a couple hours, its servicable, even if it feels like it could be so much more.
