Syberia 1 is in my top 3 Pn'Cs of all times.
Syberia 2, maybe in my top 300, a mediocre yet playable entry with no memorable scene.
Syberia 3 is in my top 30000 turds; hard to gauge how far from the bottom, because of the gas mask such endeavour would force me to wear.

Clearly an entirely new dev team, of software engineering school rejects.
One dev used their double digit IQ to shift from the winning Pn'C formula to the dreaded 3D model.
One with around 85 IQ decided to remove manual saves, as they randomly do with features they can't understand.
One with around 62 IQ took charge of the controls, therefore every single interaction requires a combinations of twists, luck and stubbornness. No pointing and no clicking is ever involved.
There was even a 44 IQ dev, originally, who included Denuvo, the infamous spyware posing as a warning sign against crappy code.
It's not there today, which suggests one teammate cut it out by accident while attempting a division by zero.
Nobody considered the usefulness of a skip command for their endless cutscenes and lifeless dialogues, which are guaranteed to be repeated by the lack of saves between bugs and crashes.

It doesn't matter if the story ever gets compelling, it's not worth it with an interface rated 0/10.
