A fun take on old school dungeon crawlers, with a strong emphasis on combat. The combat is more akin to something like an MMORPG than to other takes on the genre, centered around resource management (in the form of mana and cooldowns, including a global cooldown!) and randomly generated loot, with less of an emphasis on dodging monster attacks (only some attacks, mostly projectiles, can be avoided through movement). On the higher difficulties, this all adds up to a very pleasing puzzle of the "do I use one of my strictly finite healing potions now, or save it for later" variety. The game also has a great variety of options to customize your play experience, right down to an option to decrease the number of combat encounters in the game, while rebalancing the amount of experience to be roughly the same!

Overall, I highly recommend.
