Did they actually remove the severe slowdown of arcade Double Dragon 1 and 2 for this port?

this dev made TMNT shredders revenge arguably equal or superior to classic TMTN beat em ups. So why such a great dev released a double dragon trilogy with ... what's wrong? game is dirt cheap right know but i dont want to get a cheap stuff thta wont work or crash all the time so whats the issue with this game....

I bought this back in 2015. I reinstalled it because i forgot why i quit playing it. Well its really messed up. In DD2 my punches or kicks would be going through the enemy and it wouldn't register as a hit and sometimes the punches or kicks are so far away yet magically connect as a hit. Maybe my computer doesn't like it or something cuz its unplayable. I see why i stopped playing it, does anyone else have this issue? is there a fix? : /...

Expected NES version.

I would like to know if this is the NES version or Arcade version.
