The demo translated into Japanese for Tokyo Game Show 2024!

The Fix-A-Bug team is honored that The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles has been selected for the "Selected Indie 80" showcase at the Tokyo Game Show 2024.

As a gesture of gratitude, we have translated the demo currently available on Steam into Japanese so that all players in Japan can experience the game in their language and provide us with their valuable feedback. However, we would like to point out that there may be some imperfections in the translation due to the limited time we had to complete the work.

Nevertheless, we assure you that the final version of the game will undergo thorough revision and rewriting to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of the texts.

Demo Feedback

Very fun, just a little verbose on some of the bits. A quest log or brief summary in the journal would help say "you're going to need to do this" if you skip some of the banter. I hope the final version has a lot of variance in terms of combat and abilities. I found it pretty easy overall, just the confuse causing bats being a pain in the butt. It just took way too long if you get confused and its tedious to continue, not hard. Had no problems, but it looks like you might be using AI assets... that's...

We can finally reveal it: we are thrilled to announce that our game, The Crazy Hyper-Dungeon Chronicles, has been selected to participate in the "Selected Indie 80" at the Tokyo Game Show 2024!

But what does this mean exactly?

"Selected Indie 80" is the exclusive showcase dedicated to independent productions at the Tokyo Game Show, one of the world's most important gaming events. As the name suggests, only 80 titles are selected from hundreds of entries from all over the globe. This recognition celebrates the innovation, creativity, and potential demonstrated by some of the most promising indie products.

Being part of the "Selected Indie 80" gives us the opportunity to introduce our game to an even wider audience and gain significant visibility in Japan and, by extension, the rest of the world. Moreover, participating in the event provides us with the exceptional chance to connect with thousands of developers, journalists, and enthusiasts in the industry. It is a great honor and a profound satisfaction after so much hard work and dedication.

Our game will be showcased from September 26th to 29th in a dedicated area of the expo, generously provided by the organizers. Here, visitors will be able to try out a demo with the latest updates and discover many details about our game.

Is there anyway to divide stacked item?

Well, ores can be quite heavy, and when they stacked to 20 or 30+, I couldn't divide them or simply destroy part of them. Also, when I put stacked items in chest, and don't have enough weight limit, I can't take part of these stacked items back, which is inconvenient....

Demo - Blank Screen

Starting the demo, the game starts to a grey-black screen and just hangs. No error, nothing. 4070 TI. AMD 3900X. Win 10. Edit: Even the Itch.IO version does it. (FYI)

little elements you can add to improve the immersion

monsters, orc,goblin,troll,bat,rat,spiders...etc, after kill them, their corpse must remain lying on ground inside the floor or dungeon without vanishing to lets us know that we killed them right where we encountered the. Only monsters that fled during the fight will not have corps on the ground, you can add blood on the corpses for excellent immersion... players will love it. BLOOD for each monsters should get the right blood color as according to the fantasy or the lore. Example, some goblin can have ...
