Multiple issues/questions

1) According to the menu, damage reduction supposedly caps at 90% but I can raise it above that and several attacks stop inflicting damage, but not all. That seems to be independent from the lightning immunity relic. 2) The unlock advanced > "do not get hit for at least 20 minutes while on trial level 5" shows progress is "500732 / 501200" - what is it really counting there? That looks bugged. The neighboring "don't get hit for 30 minute" challenge properly shows "732 / 1800". 3) Speaking of don't get hi...

Not a fan of the classes

Most of the classes have some severe negative to them which forces you to choose a play style that can deal with that negative. I found myself playing with the Apprentice for most of my play time so far and now one of these unlocks has transformed the Apprentice into another class with a huge negative. This is not cool. It feels like you wanted to have classes have a big positive and a big negative. Just make classes with a small buff that encourages players to build a certain way. I feel like I am forced ...

Bullet hell but, WTF!???!?!

Dude, thanks that your game is free, but im about to punch holes in my wall with this crap. Why are we so slow?!?! when i got 15000000 flaming balls coming at me, i move like a 110 year old woman. WTF? great game, and yeah im pissed for losing all the time. But dude, even with the whole "easy mode" button, these enemies need to be toned tf down dude!...

Does it get better?

I'm 2 hours in, 8% unlocked and every run is the same 9 spells with very little variance between runs or feeling like I'm actually making any meta progression. From what I saw on Reddit this sounded like my dream game, but I haven't hit a point where I actually feel strong or feel like I have any agency over my build/path. Maybe I'm just bad for being hardstuck in Grassland, but this feels awful....

I am giving this a positive review primarily because I love the model. It's the first time I've seen this done and it's what I would like to do. Isn't this a pathway to putting open source games on steam? I hope to find out personally. But as a game, the big problem is optimization. For some reason this game asks a lot in terms of compute. I'll buy the DLC next paycheck to support the model. I want other devs to do this. It would be the default if coders weren't monsters.

TBH, I'm not sure how this is free... It's better than a TON of paid in the genre. It has a lot more depth, maybe not initially, like your power are limited to fire/ice/lighting for instance, but as you move on there's a lot.

Huge meta options.

It is lo-fi which I often am turned off by but I don't mind it at all on this one... Usually I'm like "I haven't gamed for 40yrs to take a step back in graphics" LOL. not a retro guy.

Lot's of classes, I've only unlocked like 5 or so atm.

Conclusion - IT'S FREAKIN' FREE! No reason to not try it.

Yet another boring clone of Vampire Survivors that offers absolutely nothing of any excitement and the playable character jelly-waddles instead of walking.
