This is a pretty good indie FPS game. The shooting mechanics are simple but it works well. The shooting mechanics are like Halo 1 by having no aim button. Just point and shoot while you move and a little Return to Castle Wolfenstein with the kicks. It also plays like the original Doom by finding the coloured keys. It's a level based game not a continuous survival horror. It through me off when I heard Dino Crisis inspired but still a fun game.

I love that the shotgun allows me to reload each shell individually, so I can shoot if needed during reloading, instead of getting attacked while stuck in a reload animation.

The game plays at a smooth frame rate. I never had any frame rate issues.

There are upgrades through a points system you can get but at the moment of early access it feels like the cost to buy any upgrades is too high for the game being a little short. There's suppose to be more levels to unlock when the game is finished so maybe the high cost will make sense then. I beat the game that's available but I was only able to buy 2 upgrades.

The graphics are in the PS1 retro style. Whether that is good or bad is up to you. The animations for the dinosaurs are quite janky. Not enough to ruin or break the game but the movements are quite janky and stiff.

I did encounter a few bugs and glitches. The dinosaurs clip through doors and walls. I've had a gate cause damage by just touching it but nothing major that would break the game.

There's not much of a story. Any of the dialogue that happens is forgettable. There's no care or interest in any characters. If you don't care for story and characters. You just want to jump in the game and play. This is the game for you.
