Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is a game with an interesting atmosphere and plot, as well as well-written characters. In my opinion, the game is distinguished by a very good combat system, we have a lot of weapons, you can play as a mage, assassin, warrior and so on, we just choose the weapon we want and choose spells for it and that's it. I think that the game offers a lot of different cool options and thanks to this we can play however we want and there are no limits to us, we can even combine these weapons and spells into sets and make, for example, half a mage and half a warrior, and such a solution changes the way we fight.

The game does not have any specific errors that I could criticize here, and the game time itself is also satisfactory because the game is not too short or too long. First of all, I recommend it to people who like challenges and, most importantly, the action genre. The game is not overly difficult, but it is not easy either. As for the negative comments about the game, I don't agree with them because the game is really good. I am aware that it may not be the highest level but the game is still not that bad, it has limitations resulting from the game's budget and you can feel it, but apart from that the game is very well made.

Art style is very nice but content feels off.

It tries to be dark souls in a (not dark) fantasy world but doesn't have the depth of this game.
Something is missing in this game, 3 hours in it, I felt already bored and no longer wanted to continue.

The game is very pretty and the voice acting is really good. However the controls feel clunky - very "we need to make sure to use all of the buttons on a controller or else we might actually die". I mean, you'll press one of three buttons basically the entirety of the time that you're in combat, and the jumping feels like it exists just to exist despite nothing being jumpable to (even if you can clear the height of the ledge an invisible wall just stops you) which makes exploration a lot less intuitive.

The story also didn't draw me in at all. I'm sure there is some deep greeky depthness to it but the most important part for a story to draw you in, the beginning, just didn't land with me.

I would love to give the game a better chance but steam's 2 hour to return a game rule puts a hard limit on investment that I don't want to risk going over.

An easier Souls-like experience than you’d find traditionally, but still has enjoyable combat.

The world is pretty well fleshed out and there’s definitely been effort put into the lore. The story is half-decent, nothing phenomenal but it still feels rewarding when you finish.

Visually they’ve done a great job thematically and nailed the Greek Mythology aspects. Really love the art style.

Would definitely give it a go.
