Bought game, played game, cannot refund so giving this a bad review.

I gave this a chance, but this game has terrible navigation. First off, most of the environments look similar and so trying to find something in the middle of it is not only frustrating, it's often ridiculous. There isn't a map except a teleport one, and the area where the teleport conduit is does not give you any way to find the next area.

Places are convoluted to where unless you're willing to spend hours 'exploring' and looking at everything, you won't be able to easily find where you need to go next. I was stuck in the mines for hours just looking for the deep.

This map isn't like souls games at all, the connection is not the same and finding where to go is not worth the time.

I hate this game.
Plus the story sucks.
I know there might not have been a budget, but if they just included a pathing visual for objectives, this game would be so much better due to the poor level and environment design.

Pretty good game.
Souls-like mechanics without much of the difficulty, as long as you have semi-passable parry skills using the spear you can beat the game on highest difficulty without much issue.
I found the story pretty interesting, though tedious at times with long breaks of just reading documents.

Overall, a solid 7/10.

This game is a hidden gem. Wonderful graphics and tons of atmosphere.I love the different approach this game has to souls like and it is just a joy to play it. Combat feels satisfying and there is a huge variety of weapons and skills to try.The game runs smooth and the sound is top notch
