{SPOILERS} It's been a while since I've been this disappointed in a game

(RANT WARNING) I just finished the game and I feel the need to rant a bit about... everything. But I'll try to keep it just a few points. Emotional Depth -- Seriously, was I supposed to feel something about Nash's death? He dies from a pratfall off yet another bridge, what kind of mood was that supposed to set? He got no redemption and ultimately ended up only being in the story as comedic relief and to give Lise confidence. Meanwhile, Everett's dark secret... is... nihilism?! And he may-or...

[Spoilers endgame] Who killed the assistant?

After finishing the game, it is still not fully clear to me who killed Ez . While moving through the studio, you find numerous notes detailing Everett's encounter with the interference and some slow decent into madness, possibly spillover thoughts from the other dimensions (?). The notes specifically say "THEY killed Ez" and how Leo suspects him of the crime. However in the next scènes the main character tells everyone that Everett killed Ez. I'm not quite following.
