Overall, it's a good game if you're into management games AND can handle a good amount of stress that comes with it :D It has this twist of matching people with other townsfolk which I find cute and personally, I enjoy matching the townies. If you also don't mind reading a bit of information about them like what's their personality, what are their strengths to match their jobs, and what roles can they play in Lakeburg. As someone who enjoys this, I'd definitely recommend this game. One thing I wish is that we can have the freedom to move the structures in the game, but it doesn't really bother me at this point.

Cute, but it is a no from me. The 'dating sim' mechanics are repetitive and boring. Any game that requires a pen and paper to play is either bad UX or poor game design (if you're not a memory game, don't rely on memory mechanics). Maybe it will improve with feedback, TBC. For now though it's a bit boring. Really hope it improves.

If you enjoy the dynasty aspect of Crusader Kings or want a more causal village/city builder/management game pick this up.

My type of game,I would say I had a lot of fun so far as its an easy game to pick back up in bursts if you have a busy schedule. As for the micromanagement part of it, its no different complexity/volume wise from a game like Fallout Shelter.

Its part of the gameplay and its just the genre. I find myself still optimizing buildings and moving around villagers at almost 30 hours. Now to be fair, I do feel like I have 10 or so more hours in me before I move on to the next game but don't we all move on to another game eventually/play multiple games at once?

For me personally I am still enjoying the game 25 hours+ in opposed to some of the people saying 5 hours or so but to each their own.
