Lakeburg Legacies really hits a niche motif in games that I really like, something that I think I will call "dynasty management." If you enjoyed the aspect of Crusader Kings where you managed your court and arranged marriages for family members, you will enjoy this game. I also saw parallels to Kitty Powers Matchmaker when it came to matchmaking.

From reading the comments, I understand some of things people don't like about it, and some mechanics are a little clunky. Overall, I think its worth people giving a try to determine for themselves.

I've just started playing and stayed up all night last night bc its more addicting than i thought. Really fun, kinda repetitive but beautiful graphics and fun dialogue

Cons: after 18 hrs of gameplay I was looking forward to looking at whatever was at the end of the 75 yr campaign, whether it be a screen that shows lineage, stats of any kind, nothing... :( even my save file, just gone. Like I never played to begin with. It would be cool to see some kind of anything when a game is over lol. Besides that, I love the game for what it is.
