The puzzles, music, message, art style, voice acting, all great, even the mystery is intriguing.
but the game is painfully slow, nothing really happens until chapter 5. you spend most of chapters 1-4 doing chores and playing with the other children. When there's nothing to solve and your objective is just, talk to this person, find this object, interact with this for no other reason then to show you who characters are, the game becomes tedious. All of the endings are heartfelt in their own way, but ultimately feel anti-climatic because it just takes so much to get there. (spoiler) --- The endings also feel incomplete, you never learn why people are disappearing in the first place, the truth to why your parents stopped looking, why you cant understand them the first time you come out of the forest, what the first monster is, why the second monster looks different from the ones at the end, etc.

A game about overcoming your fears and learning to use your voice. Loved the story!

I personally loved the artwork in this point and click game which both has collectibles and puzzles (hated them xD). I found the puzzles to be quite tricky at times, and it's the same kind of puzzles again and again, so it gets old real fast!

This game has four different endings and two achievements that can only be earned by replaying the game at least twice. I thought this was okay, especially because you could actually skip the puzzles in the new game+. You also get to choose which chapter you want to replay after finishing the game once, however, this feature is bugged as you can start the 5ft chapter, but you won’t have the items from chapter 4 that you need to proceed, so you can't move on from the beginning of chapter 5. I was SUPER BUMMED about this xD also it’s a bit silly that you have to play ALL of chapter 5 through at least four times to see all the endings…. so IF you want to do this, do yourself a favor and look up where to find the save files and copy it just before you get to choose the different endings.
