A game about overcoming your fears and learning to use your voice. Loved the story!

I personally loved the artwork in this point and click game which both has collectibles and puzzles (hated them xD). I found the puzzles to be quite tricky at times, and it's the same kind of puzzles again and again, so it gets old real fast!

This game has four different endings and two achievements that can only be earned by replaying the game at least twice. I thought this was okay, especially because you could actually skip the puzzles in the new game+. You also get to choose which chapter you want to replay after finishing the game once, however, this feature is bugged as you can start the 5ft chapter, but you won’t have the items from chapter 4 that you need to proceed, so you can't move on from the beginning of chapter 5. I was SUPER BUMMED about this xD also it’s a bit silly that you have to play ALL of chapter 5 through at least four times to see all the endings…. so IF you want to do this, do yourself a favor and look up where to find the save files and copy it just before you get to choose the different endings.

Children of Silentown can be a little obtuse at times, and it takes too long to get to the best stuff. But it's a really creative, heartfelt story about community, conformity, and fear of the unknown. The art and music are nice, the puzzle boards are fun, and the pace gets a lot better in the last couple chapters. I really dug it.
