The software i am using in this guide can be downloaded here[research.microsoft.com] (Microsoft image composite editor)

This guide will work on every game, while it has an free cam mode or an ego perspective.

To create a nice looking tiny planet you need to find a scenery with alot of details. The simple reason: Ms ICE works better and do less errors. Also your planet looks way more interesting.

If you found a great spot, stand in the middle and search for a fix point. Now do a 360° rotation and hit F12 any time you think its time for another shot. The aim should be to create a 360° image of the scene.
After you hit your fix point again - stop. Now look 45° up in the sky and do the same. Now 45° from the middle to the floor and 360° rotation again. It does not matter whether you spin with or counterclockwise. All in all now you should have the material for three 360° panoramas.

Now search for the folder with the screenshots. Copy the files you did for the planet shot and put them in a new folder.

Now open ICE after you installed it.
Click at "New Panorama from images"




Now select all screenshots from the new folder you create before.
Right after you can see your imported images, click on "STITCH" to start creating a panorama.




This will take now a while.

After stitching is complete you will notice the projection options on the right side. Select "Stereographic"




Now you can transform the picture by clicking in the middle and spin it around the x-axis.
Do this after the picture looks like a planet.





Once you're satisfied with the result click on "CROP". If there are "gray holes" like in the example, dont worry, there will be options to fix this.

To fix the "gray holes" you can select the option "auto complete" after click on "CROP". This can take a while.






















The result should look like this now. You can change the size of the picture now with the white frame.




If you are happy with your result, you are ready now for the finale step. Click on "EXPORT"




Now just select the quality to 100% and click on "export to disk..."

The exported file will now called something like that: 20160927200211_1_stitch
