**Updated for Tides of Torment**
  • Boosts only Legendary Lords! ALL of 'em!
  • 10 of their unique skills awarded (mostly by level 17) automatically as you level.
  • Zero changes to Standard Lords.
  • Effectively 1.2 skill points per level. 49 -> 59

Legendary Lords become the impactful legends they are in lore without trivialising your campaign.
Light weight, save game compatible, works with everything, including 2x skill points per level and/or mods that add entirely new skills.

OoD update: Golfarrrg gets his unique skills, but not extra skillpoints or reduced requirements, CA didn't separate his skill nodes from generic Tyrants.




Welcome to MEEP! - Modest Extra Exclusive Points.
I want my Legendary Lords to feel like powerful, awe-inspiring entities, but I don't require cake-walk campaigns or standard lords who can go toe-to-toe with semi-mythical demigods!

10 skill points are awarded via the excellent new system introduced by CA in Warhammer 3 for mounts and the immortality trait.
MEEP gives Legendary Lords their personal unique skills automatically at approximately the level they unlock in vanilla, with no punishing waits. MEEP does not select skill points that lock you out of other selections; power and control remains with you as the player. In situations where 2 excellent skills become available at once, MEEP gives both at once, the Intention of the mod is fun and to empower, not feel constrained or restricted!

Additionally, any none-unique node that required 4 skill points invested in vanilla (EG:Rally/Foe-Seeker) Now only requires 3 for Legendary Lords

Honestly, if you've ever wanted just a few more toys, try the mod - it's fun!




I've curated every choice so no one starts out with a mega advantage in the early game.
Sometimes a lord will get the jump in a couple of skill points early, but that's only a small window for encounters before the balance evens out.
90% of all Lords receive their 10 bonus points by level 17.
And if you're worried you'll be overpowered, just remember at max confederation you'll have ~4 powerful LL's, but you'll be facing down 80 in opposition!
Additionally, with more points to spend, and all the good ones free, the AI might benefit a large degree, with less chance of dumb skill selections! Relatedly, will mean fewer worries for you when confederating that their trees are utterly broken!

If you'd rather only your race benefits, then every race has a stand-alone version under the LLLL label, {LINK}.

3 Legendary heroes are awarded a few points, Ariel & Coeddil + Henri le Massif.

If a LL does not have 10 unique skills to unlock, then this mod starts them with thematic, loreful, and useful skills.

Such as Queek above, he has 8 unique skills so MEEP also starts him with Inspiring Presence to lorefully represent his reputation, and 1 in his personal combat line to represent his dualist focus. "Make Examples" skill is NOT awarded because it is a 'choice' as it has some negatives.



Works with 2x/3x skill points and dump mods, plus mods that add all new skills.
Should prove compatible with EVERY mod that isn't attempting the same thing.
Can be safely loaded in and out of a save game at any time. Awarded skill points WILL remain.
Only touches tables so shouldn't need translation but rehosting is fine :)

Modifies only 3 tables: character_skill_level_details_tables, character_skill_nodes_tables, and character_skills_to_level_reached_criterias_tables.
A 'pure' version is available that ONLY grants unique skills to LL's, No heroes, No reduced cost of nodes from 4/6 down to 3. and does NOT edit character_skill_nodes_tables

Would it be possible (as a way to cheat your way towards modded legendary lore compatibility) to make this mod (or a submod?) have a script or something that just throws 10 extra skill points (scattered between levels 3 and 17?) at all legendary lords, but checks against a list included in the mod (of all of the LLs covered by this mod), and excludes those ones from getting the 10 extra skill points.

Essentially to have the effect of making any mod added Legendary Lord that doesn't benefit from this mod receive 10 extra consolation skill points to keep them in line with the ones that are covered, without having to actually go through each one.

Don't think this mod is working for Gorbad Ironclaw, no auto allocation but it looks like the skill trees were shifted like it should be edited but its not actually functional.

Thank you Neil its fixed now. This is a very good mod and its alright I understand. As for the levels that you set for his unique skill line they are slightly higher to unlock then your other lords but I still feel like it still can work so no need to change it. Kairos is already strong enough so if he maxes out a bit later then your others its not an issue. Your welcome glad that this mod is supported.

So very sorry you are quite right and very patient, I was rushing my answers due to Holiday busyness, and Kairos confusing ppl before meant I glossed over it.

Your wonderfully detailed explanation allowed me to investigate properly and discover yet more sneaky CA changes. Kairos should now receive his top 7 unique skills free once again, and 6 'fragments', so 13 in total.

No time to play test, so just randomly chose the levels, let me know if they are too egrarious.

The balance of the mod is fine. What I am saying is that the skills on his unique skill line are not being awarded properly 14 is a good amount but they are not unlocking as showed I still need to spend points on his skill The Oracle, Thaumaturgic rejuvenation, Wind Summoner, Bloons of change, and bewitching potency where as the mod suggest they would be free. I am not asking for it to be more I am just saying that its not be awarded as showed by the screen with the yellow triangle and circle around those skills but you would still need to spend the points on it even if those skills have those icons. The fragments are working fine as stated on the mod its just his unique skill line that has those issues.

That's 40% more than any other lord, it's already OP. I am not prepared to bust the mod entirely. Ppl would be playing against a level 15 Kairos with the skills of a level 40 Lord.
If you'd like it to be more, it's a simple mod and a perfect beginner project to learn modding yourself!

I check Kairos on the monogods section and I get his Fragments are given as random but they will only be given as random as level 1? That still leaves the issue of his unique skill line of Oracle of Eternity, The Oracle, Wind Summoner, Irridescent Scrivers, Bloons of change, and bewitching potency not being unlocked for free as the mod would suggest. They do still unlock but you still need to put points into them. It also doesn't give the levels at which those skills would unlock for his unique skill line, not the shards I get that those are random.
