This is the original version of Improved Hyperlanes and Fog of War that does not make any changes to the gameplay mechanics.

What this mod does:

Makes exploration a bit more challenging by:
  • Removing hyperlane visibility from the fog of war.

  • Making the fog of war completely opaque - You cannot see anything in unexplored areas.

  • Making nebula names invisible.

Tested with 3.4.5 patch and getting visibility of hyperlanes whiped out.
Any chance for an update or re-working of that great mod?

Still this mod is the best addition for early exploration feeling.
Besides it tells to be outdated, it works for 2.8.1.

Yeah, that feature will be in the main version of the mod, which is going to take a bit more work to update. I'm hoping to have it out within a week or so.
