I am having the same issue too.

I launch it with anti_cheat off and i still cant get it working is the campaign suppose the change or is it like next to it?

The Change might have broke it

maybe resub to the mod might work?

It's been working again since December 19th, just make sure all players are on the most recent version.

Still doesn't work. I've subscribed to the mod and reloaded MCC and yet nothing is different. Are there any extra steps?

As long as it's downloading locally, it should show up in MCC when loaded up with EAC DIsabled. At worst case you can download the Nexus Mods version manually, but Steam Workshop handles everything for you so all you have to do is click subscribe and load up the game to play. If you go to your Steam Directory and look through the Workshop folders (Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730\2898916793) you can see if the files are showing there. If the folder of `2898916793` doesn't exist, then it would sound like Steam isn't downloading.
