List of Worktypes and Mod Settings
Below is a list of all the worktypes added by this mod and the available mod settings.


Default Worktypes

Nurse
- Care for the sick, bring them food, cheer them up, and perform assigned duties. Nurses will care for colonists, prisoners and animals.

Surgeon
- Perform surgeries on colonists, prisoners and animals.

Rearm
- Rearm defenses such as turrets and traps.

Train
- Tame wild animals and train domesticated animals.

Butcher
- Create kibble and butcher meat.

Repair
- Repair damaged or broken-down buildings/objects.

Deconstruct
- Uninstall or deconstruct buildings, objects, floors and roofs.

Harvest
- Harvest grown crops.

Drill
- Use deep drills to drill for resources.

Drugs
- Craft drugs at work stations.

Machining
- Create weapons and tools from raw materials at a machining table.

Fabrication
- Create weapons, armour, bionics and components from raw materials at a fabrication bench.

Refine
- Refine materials at a refinery.

Production
- Perform general production work producing various goods. This typically involves filling and emptying production objects or performing simple tasks.

Smelt
- Operate smelters to perform tasks such as melting down slag or weapons.

Cut Stone
- Create blocks of stone from rock chunks.

Transport
- Prepare and unload transport pods, caravans and vehicles.

Mortuary
- Perform various tasks relating to dead bodies. Such as operating the crematorium or campfire to burn apparel, drugs and bodies.

Deliver
- Deliver resources to construction projects.

Maintenance
- Perform various tasks to ensure upkeep and maintenance of systems, such as refueling, delivering and overall system care.

Scan
- Perform complex work to achieve goals such as finding resources below the ground or in the world.

Mod Settings

The mod settings can be changed in the XML Extensions menu. It can be accessed via the plus icon next to the mod options in the main menu. All mod settings are off by default.

List of Settings

Drafted Work Tasks
- Changes all work tasks so they can be done while drafted. Making it so you no longer need to undraft and redraft pawns to perform a task.

- Note: A few tasks may still not be usable while being drafted and some tasks may forcibly undraft a pawn to perform them.

Rescue In Firefighting
- Adds a duplicated task of Rescue to Firefighting. This will cause people on the firefighting worktype to first rescue downed allies before attempting to fight fires.\nNote: Although this is intended to be an alternative to the Rescue worktype both options can be enabled without issue.

Mechanoids Are Capable (Biotech DLC)
- When enabled it allows mechanoids to do all the tasks they were previously incapable of doing. Now they can tend animals, feed animal patients, do all brewing related tasks, extract and replant trees, do all painting tasks, strip corpses, carry to gene extractor, carry to growth vat, repair mechs, craft at subcore encoder and haul mechs to chargers.

- Note: This works fine for existing mechanoids you only need to enable the setting. A few task such as drilling requires some code changes so they are not included. For that grab the mod Allow Tunnelers To Drill.

Slaves Are Capable
- Allows Slaves to do all Worktypes except for Warden.

Warcaskets Are Capable (Vanilla Factions Expanded Pirates)
- Allows Warcaskets to do all Worktypes.

Enable Clear Snow Worktype
Clear Snow
- Clear snow in the home area.

Enable Clean Pollution Worktype (Biotech DLC)
Clear Pollution
- Clear pollution in the clear pollution area.

Enable Prison Care Worktype
Prison Care
- Feed prisoners.

Enable Convert Worktype (Ideology DLC)
Convert
- Convert prisoners to your Ideologion.

Enable Merge Worktype
Merge
- Merge stacks of items together to save space.

Enable Paint Worktype
Paint
- Paint floors, walls and items.

Enable Rescue Worktype
Rescue
- Bring downed allies to beds so they can be treated.

Enable Slaughter Worktype
- Enables the Slaughter Worktype which focuses on slaughtering designated animals.

Enable Smooth Worktype
Smooth
- Smooth stone floors and walls.

Enable Tame Worktype
Tame
- Tame wild animals.

Enable Prune Worktype (Ideology DLC)
Prune
- Prune Gauranlen trees.

Enable Mechanoids Worktype (Biotech DLC)
Mechanoids
- Perform tasks relating to mechanoids such as gestating new ones, repairing existing ones and creating subcores.
