I have a feeling that if anyone is seeing alot of pink+black textures, and has Half life 2, HL2:ep1 and HL2:ep2, this will be due to those games being moved to steampipe, and you not running them since then.

All you should have to do to fix this is start each game, it should say something like 'the files need to be optimised', and it will convert them all to the new steampipe format.

Once Steam has updated the game, you should be able to see the textures in Garry's mod again, as that has already been converted to use steampipe, so will already be looking for the updated files.


(On a side note, a long term goal of this map would be to use all custom textures, so that nothing but the map is required... though that would make it a larger filesize as they would all need to be included, so maybe I will just try to replace anything other than vanilla HL2 textures ^^ )
