stats?
well becuase i think its much coal in the worlde so
40 ammo
20+ faster weapon switch
60- damage
the coal have 23 chance to ignite

I had idea of more impact damage, crits on ignited targets and less afterburn duration and damage (maybe no afterburn at all)

yeah the orginal stats are to low with no damage and no ignite chance. It should be more impact damage but, no ignite chance or you have to charge it for it to ignite. It could also blow up if you hold it to long.

as we all know some weapons change the class role like engineer`s gunslinger i think that change he to attacker instead of defender and some other like spy`s reward thingy knife that make he notl ike other spyies that make he take enemies most alone first so should this have stats that can change pyro`s style

Upon Draw: Heats coal (fully heated: 4 seconds)
+projectile (coal) shatters on any impact, shards ignite foes
+ shards last 2-12 seconds depend on time
- +25 damage to self

I just request a slower projectile speed

+25% overburn time and damage
+can be charged to do +25% projectile speed
-no critical hits
- +50% reload time
- overchagring can cause misfire which can do 10-50 self damage (random amount)
- can be reflected
- 25% ammo capacity (12 ammo in clip)

Given that it would be difficult to load such a gun I would suggest slower weapon switch?
Maybe something like
+30% projectile velocity
+10% impact damage
-20% slower weapon switch
-20% slower load time
-20% projectile speed
Launches Coal that does little damage upon impact, but explodes shortly after in a radius
Minicrits burning targets

Kinda like a detonator loose cannon baby.

Maybe it should be something similar to the beggars bazooka..
Hold to load the chamber with lumps of coal (up to 8 or something) then it scatters coal forwards with short range..
No ignite..

Fires hard volcanic rocks

i like the faster weapon switching but cons are too high maybe :

pros:
+25 weapon switichind
+ very small knockback
cons:
-no rnd critz
-10% moving speed on wearing

that should work :P
