SUBSCRIBE TO THIS ADOON *BEFORE* SUBSCRIBING TO THE REQUIRED ADDONS OR RE-ORDER THIS ADDON TO BE BEFORE THE MAIN QUAKE SWEPS ADDONS.
Reason to do the above is so the HD models appear and a few code changes work correctly.



Celebrating the recent update on Quake SWEPs totally not endorsed and to be paid by me, i've decided to bring this one back from the dead.
Why? Not because i got back to GMod, infact, im still retired, but due to the fact that i love Upset's work and the times we worked together always brought me good memories, so i decided to do this as a little tribute.


Features? Well, here they are:
-NEW! MAPPER TOOLKIT, A FGD to use in hammer which has all of the ents made so far to use in maps. If someone ever makes NPCs, it will be updated for those aswell. It can be grabbed here.[cdn.discordapp.com]
-Code updated to the current version. Now it also doesn't replace the entire addon, only viewmodels and a few entities.
-Shotgun and Axe pickup entities.
-Guns from Missionpacks 1 and 2 (Scourge of Armagon's Laser Cannon, Mjolnir and Prox. Launcher & Dissolution of Eternity's Multi-Launchers, Lava Nailguns and Plasma Gun)
-Models from the new Quake Remaster by Nightdive Studios / Kaiser (only the main arsenal was Remastered, MP2 and Prox. Launcher are fan-recreations.)
-Restores faithful behaviour to a few elements of the addon.

Upset: Original Addon Base and code fixups / update.
DwereDaWerecat: Improved Original Weapon Model Pack for Quake.
Cold Hotman: Fixing the Laser Cannon Muzzleflash animation. That one is on me now.
Trickle: Mission Pack 2 Models and Skins.
Half-Dead: Proximity Launcher Remastered skin.
Microsoft / Bethesda Softworks / id Software / Nightdive Studios: QUAKE Remaster and base content used for this.
Rich Whitehouse: Noesis, which was the software used to get them to SMDs.
Me: DLC guns code and remaining / DLC assets, fixing animations for GMod use in remastered models and Laser Cannon, additional code.

I know this is too much to ask, but could you also make alt variants of these weapons so that they can use the standard HL1 or HL2 ammo types? I'm replaying through Half-Life and Doom with some cool addons on Gmod, but is kind of a shame that I kinda have to give myself infinite ammo when using these as you can't replenish them naturally without spawning your own ammo.

would it be possible to have a toggle to switch to LD models AND turn off interpolation (what makes the animations smoothy) animations all under a few toggles? maybe?

I wonder if you could make an expansion for the Quake SWEPs that includes Usable versions of the handheld weapons used by the enemies? (the Ogre Grenade Pistol (possibly dual-wieldable) and Chainsaw, Grunt Shotgun, the Knight Swords and ESPECIALLY the Enforcer's Blaser/Laser Rifle? I still want to use that gun so bad.)

These Extended Quake Weapons still have problems, even if they're arranged correctly.
