NAR: Generic Train Tracks

This is part of the North American Rail project and contains most of the tracks you will need ingame. Don't forget to also subscribe to the Required Parts & Props to get the full experience. Check the lists below to see other requirements and recommendations.

This pack includes 13 different tracks, of which 9 are station tracks used in station assets. These have either high platforms (Default 1m) or low platforms (0.4m). You can use Railway Replacer to place any station with NAR tracks.




Use Network Skins 2 to recolor the tracks to any color! This way you can have anything from old and dark gravel to fresh new ballast. You can even make a rainbow... Go crazy!



Yes, this item is 500MB, but it's actually 13 complete networks! By using Loading Screen Mod, you only load <100MB into your RAM, and your game will load much faster too!

• Large File Size: Not recommended to PC’s with less than 8GB. Use Loading Screen Mod to drastically decrease the amount loaded into RAM.
  
• Network Tiling is a required mod: Without it, the tracks will look weird and stretched. It’s safe to use and very lightweight. Get it here

• Loading Screen Mod: Shorter loading times and improves RAM usage.
  
• MoveIt: Allows you to move anything freely.
  
• FindIt: Makes it easy to search for items ingame, and place props anywhere.
  
• Fine Road Anarchy: Enables you to turn off collision, giving more freedom to build.
  
• Fine Road Tools: Provides extra tools to help with building roads.
  
• Railway Replacer: Allows you to replace station tracks ingame.
  
• Remove Decoration Sprites: Hides the gravel sprites that appear on the tracks.

1. Question: Why is the File Size so big? I don't have much RAM
   Answer: The tracks are made up of hundreds of textures, but only about 10 unique ones. If you use Loading Screen Mod, the game will load only those 10 textures, instead of all of them.
   
   
2. Question: I see 'Duplicate Prefab' errors in Loading Screen Mod, is something wrong?
   Answer: No it's harmless. It just means an asset is used in multiple other assets.
   
   
3. Question: Will you make more tracks? For example with wires?
   Answer: I would like to, but I don't want to make false promises.
