Description
"Ah, finally. I've united Ulthuan and have secured all the port cities. I have raised many powerful armies and Tyrion has all his artefacts. I think I should be quite prepared once I reach the shores of Naggaroth to face my arch-nemesis, Malekith. Oh boy, I wonder how powerful he's beco-..wait... wtf??? Why's he still level 4??? MUUUUUUUH IMMERSIOOOOOOOOOOOOOON AAAARGHHH WHAT THE FUUU~~!@!#!@##@$!$!$@$!@#"- Me

Have you ever had a situation like this? I sure have. So, my buddy and I got together to make a mod that would solve this immersion-breaking crisis.

If you're the kind of person who gets really tired of seeing under-levelled AI legendary lords or want to have a bigger challenge when facing them, then this could be the mod for you.

FEATURES:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Gives AI legendary lords bonus experience every four turns so they can get ahead of their regular lord counterparts. They should become more significant in your campaigns thanks to this change.

- After every 10 levels they gain gradually less experience until they reach level 30. After that they won't receive any bonus XP. This is done to make AI legendary lords more formidable in the early-mid game, but late game they'll have to do most of the work themselves.

(You can see on the screenshots the estimated level that legendary lords have on turn 25.)

- As you might have guessed, this mod only applies to the AI. Once the player confederates an AI faction, the legendary lords from that faction will stop gaining bonus XP.

WARNING!

This mod is not for the faint of heart. It WILL make your campaigns more difficult and the purpose is to make AI lords into dangerous boss-tier encounters. If you play slow, you will fall behind. This can also lead to potentially undesired situations where if you confederate a legendary lord from your race, they will most likely have out-level'ed you.

If you want a more laid back experience, then I highly suggest you try the lite version of the mod. The link is further below.

My recommendation is that you use this version ONLY if you are confident with the faction that you're playing.

WHICH CHARACTERS DOES THIS MOD APPLY TO?

- All base-game and DLC legendary lords and legendary heroes ( meaning Green Knight and Lord Kroak).

- Mixu's Legendary Lords

- Cataph's High Elf Sea Patrol's Aislinn

- We'z Spehul

- Cataph's Southern Realms

- Project Resurrection: Parte's Legendary

- SFO: Grimhammer

FOR ALL SFO: GRIMHAMMER USERS

A very light version of this mod has already been integrated into SFO: GRIMHAMMER. If you wish to play a more challenging campaign then you should keep both these mods activated. This mod will simply overwrite the light version of itself from SFO. But if you prefer a lighter experience then just deactivate it when using it with SFO.

COMPATIBILITY

This should be compatible with every other mod, since it's a custom LUA script that runs separately from all others.
To the best of my knowledge there's no other mod in the workshop that does the same thing as this one.

As far as I know, it has only been integrated into SFO: Grimhammer and Minos' Better AI mod.

Legendary Lords and Heroes introduced the already listed mods simply gain xp over time.

It's also save-compatible.

is there possible a version without agent of our enemy be constantly over lvl 20?

I'm getting an error in the lua_mod_log.txt file:
Loading mod file [script\campaign\mod\nnobbs_lordexp.lua]

Any plans to bring this up for WH3? The battles against 20-30 levels lower lords and heroes feel so anti-climatic after having experienced this mod in WH2. Maybe you could add more items for them also? This has been one of my favorite and must-have mods for WH2:steamthumbsup:

hmm i notice SFO does not list this mod in their mod page, can i still run it along with SFO even though they integrated the LITE version of it

@renetschultz it seems like CA has implemented a system similar to what this does, in wh3. Neither I nor Obi have had time to play the game much. If we feel like the issue persists in wh3, we'll port this over.
