What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“While the game in its current state offers a complete playing experience, there are additional features that will be added to the game. This game is starting out in Early Access in order to implement these features, as well as offer users to test and provide feedback for these features before they are finalized within the game.

The goals for Early Access are to involve the community to help resolve bugs as well as provide input for newly added content and feedback for the play experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game is currently considered in "BETA", with the plan to release by the end of 2025, roughly December 31st 2025. If testing and all features are implemented before that date, then it will be released early with notifications posted.

Throughout development of Early Access, consistent updates will be posted to the community. When this game entered "Alpha" development with first exposure to the public, monthly development log updates were posted with videos covering the content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Differences between Early Access and Release:
The game offers online service as well as offline capabilities. For the online service, all user progress will be reset once the game is released.

All functional design for the core game is complete (subject to post-release changes for balance), however additional content is planned to be added to the game.

The main priority planned to be added to the game is integration with Steam services for using online services, which will enable friend features and a seamless player account experience (players will no longer have to manually log-in using separate accounts; instead their Steam account will be used).

Online services are planned to be enhanced with more game modes for the "Stadium" (cooperative pve) and the "Arena" (pvp). Guilds are planned to have additional features added which will enable groups of players to work together to fight other guilds for unique rewards and items.

Within the game, more features are planned to be added, such as additional art assets and new unique characters for the player to acquire. More character "Skills" are also planned to be added, as well as new and various types of clothes for the characters to equip and be dressed up in.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently considered "Beta" in-so-far-as all functionality has been completed, however arduous testing of the game needs to be performed to eliminate as many bugs as possible. While the game is currently playable, there are some bugs and user experience issues that need to be resolved.

Features that are currently in the game allow the player to complete the core game. The player can choose to play "Offline" or "Online", which enable online services to specific features that allow playing with other players.

Within each game mode, the player starts off with a story introduction to the main antagonist, who guides the player through obtaining characters called "Waifu" via a gacha-style system that implements in-game obtainable crystals. The story leads the player through building a strong team of characters in order to save the world via visual-novel styled scenes.

With the characters, the player can change each one's appearance, as well as enhance each character's stats and equipment and train them with different skills. The characters can be arranged on teams to be sent on "Quests" which are various minigames: sliding drop-down puzzle game, side-scrolling jumping game, tile-matching game, catching game, active-turn fighting game, and mini-boss fight with item collection. Each quest rewards items and equipment which can be used to equip the characters or sold for in-game gold.

Optionally, online services allow game modes for players to cooperate, or compete with each other. With three strong teams of characters, the players can work together, or against each other, in order to overthrow the Demon King in the "Warbands" game. Additionally, minigames are offered with a competitive leaderboard, including a boss score challenge, character team battles, a dancing game to get the highest score, and a "survival" bullet-heaven game. Players can also set their teams against other players within the Arena. With the "Ambassador," players can unite to create a guild and work together to defeat a monthly boss in order to gain unique rewards.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will remain the same during and after Early Access. Since there is in-game currency that can be purchased, the price of the base game will remain low.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community is important as this is a "Gacha" genre game; typically games of this nature focus on greed and profit, however this game is focusing on gameplay and player experience.

It is vital that the community is involved with this project, since their input will directly influence not only the game's current state, but the addition of new features and content as well. The goal is to create a game that is richly rewarding the player's efforts.

For the past 2 years of development of this game, a Discord server has been used for community involvement for primarily the developers and Alpha testers. In bringing this game to Steam, usage of Steam's Community Hub will be utilized to build a larger community. Users that play the game during Early Access are basically considered to be "Beta Testers" at that point, since any issues they find as well as suggestions for improvement should be posted on Steams's Community Forum for the game.”
