„Currently in Farlands it is possible to build and clean the farm, watch a dozen story events and advance (in a limited way) in the main objectives of the game.

However, not all story events are available, and it will not be possible to complete the story until all the mechanics that will be developed during Early Access have been included.

During the first few months of Early Access, the Farlands experience will be somewhat more sandbox, where players will be able to explore planets, gather resources and focus on their farm, while preparing for the content that will arrive with each update.“
