Trapped myself. When I opened the 1st door, I saw a companion cube, but it closed & now it won't reopen so I'm trapped.

he observation room glass can be shot through without the pellet. Which is what I did. I did not use the light pellet at all.

OHHHHHHHHHH...
I THOUGHT U USED BEEMOD FOR THIS

Hammer.
BatWing 3 Oct, 2012 @ 3:20pm
HOW DID U DO THIS?
ThatGreekGuy 1 Oct, 2012 @ 7:14am
ok this one is not as broken as...lthat other one that shall not be named. But it still has some major huge problems and again they are too many to point out. :/
Fish  [author] 28 Sep, 2012 @ 3:36pm
Oh fiddlesticks. Better fix that too.
tanger2b 28 Sep, 2012 @ 3:35pm
Also, with the solidity trouble, the observation room glass can be shot through without the pellet.

Thanks for all your feedback. And thank you tanger2b for finding numerous breaks in these maps that I couldn't even find myself. I am currently working hard to Fix them.

Nothing special to complete the precedent comments, I agree with them ^^
Maybe you are stuck if you forget to place a portal in front of the light bridge before falling to the next room... You should fix that ^^
Also I found some little shortcuts making flip pannels and some other items useless...

One last thing, You're missing an exit door in the last chamber. While it was cool to break the glass for your exit plan... The chamber still needs an exit door, regardless if the door is the actual exit or not.

I also noticed that you might want to re-position Rick's camera a bit. I was able to view the highlight of a couple of my portals in the background behind Rick in the monitor. You put together some "pretty" maps, but a lot stuff needs work.

You might wish to make a couple of things solid. I had an interesting time suddenly realizing that I was playing as a ghost and was able to walk through walls.

Trying it out! : )
Fish  [author] 26 Sep, 2012 @ 7:43pm
Oh right! Well thanks for the feedback!
BenVlodgi 26 Sep, 2012 @ 7:37pm
Oh I know, I did find that. I was saying that GLaDOS doesn't design tests to be broken out of for the exit. So there should have been an exit door even if you never were going to go through it.
Fish  [author] 26 Sep, 2012 @ 7:28pm
@BenVlodgi Thanks! Although the last puzel was a "fake" You may see a red arrow pointing to a portable surface. Put a portal so that the energy pellett flys through it. The energy pellett will then smash the glass in the Observasion room and you can portal up there. Hence the end of my map.
BenVlodgi 26 Sep, 2012 @ 7:20pm
......Why would aperture have your exit lead down a hallway where there is glass on the floor, and nothing infront of that, its like they planned on you falling. Also I did manage to get the energy pelet into the receiver, but no exit door opened for me. There actually wasn't an exit to that chamber, in a real chamber there would have been one, just perhaps the puzzle was broken so you have to find another way of solving it.
Again great to see new people getting into mapping, Glad you're using my mod :) and I hope these reccomondations help you out :) PM me anytime if you have any more questions.

Always good to see people using the BEEMOD.
Also great to see someone using hammer.
Things to fix or consider in the future:
Make your models solid, re-use puzzle elements in the same room for m=better puzzles. The green fizzler actually is real element, however I see you just used it as a regular fizzler here, next time you should try sticking to the convention or using the real green fizzler. The actual flow of the map doesn't make sense............

Thanks. I was a bit worried if I packed the files correctly. Now I know I did. :)
GiovanH 26 Sep, 2012 @ 9:15am
You can get stuck on the panels. Other than that, good.
Carl123 26 Sep, 2012 @ 2:58am
This is amazing! Seriously one of the best maps I have ever played!
