@kaptain_kavern I don't think this is gonna update at this point.

As I've said earlier, I will include dogs in my "pack animal" mod then. Can't promise a date as I still have other mods of mine to update though ....

I subscribed to here to be notified of replies and will keep you all updated.

I still hope for @Lazuly to show up, though. I don't want to being rude to her/him by "stealing" the mod if she/he have planned to come back

Hi there, I'm the author of a mod that make other animals than dogs able to be used as pack animal ("Vanilla Animal Overhaul" mod). Until now I purposely not added dogs in my own mod because of this one, if Lazuly's doesn't update this one I'll add them to my own mod (maybe as an option, I"ll see). But I really hope Lazuli will shows up.

@billowaysapher; caravans refusing to trade away their pack animals is reasonable.

Pack animals can always be bought through orbital trade beacon, so long as the trader stocks them.

Any chance of the same thing for elephants?

Yes! I love this! I had a sitution where a bunch of wolves self tamed, then they kept having babies. One point I had to move out of the space I was in, and I couldn't take everything with me because those damn dogs wouldn't carry anything. YOU HELP ME HAUL, YOU CAN BLOODY CARRY SOME ITEMS ON YOUR BACK AS WE TRAVEL. /rant.

Any plans to include other animals in a similar mod? Elephants and thrumbos would make great additions to Caravans

I recall this mod previously having an issue where caravans would no longer trade you dogs, as they considered them pack animals. Is that still a thing?

@schlonius probably not, the mod is very lightweight I was able to add it to a saved game with no problems.
