There is an new, updated release of this compatibility patch: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2993881965
Jazuke Taizago 20 maj, 2024 @ 5:02
Not working as of right now. Tested it. Would be nice if this got updated or a mod doing same/similar.
LegitGamer1017 23 jun, 2023 @ 22:18
Still working in 3.8?
manmuel 10 mar, 2023 @ 14:40
crashes game load on linux
dhkatz 9 mar, 2023 @ 18:19
Compatible with 3.6?
Killer 6 jan, 2022 @ 15:24
the shield works for me except its bigger than the planet itself
bascott83 15 sep, 2021 @ 14:34
Is this still needed? if so, will it be updated for Lem Patch Compatibility?
John McCreedy 11 jun, 2021 @ 15:45
I've installed this but I'm still getting displaced shields. Any ideas? I don't have system scale installed so it's not that.
Starwisp 30 maj, 2021 @ 15:01
How do I open the menu on the more event mod? I'm trying to figure out how to just disable the planetary shields. I give... Tried moving this patch up, down, all around the two mods. No luck for me.
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 16 maj, 2021 @ 7:46
Sorry for the wait, I tested the patch on my end and it still works. Just make sure to put it above the two others mods in the load order and it should be all good.
Fung0611 15 maj, 2021 @ 6:21
update please,it doesnt work
Fallen Angel 1 maj, 2021 @ 6:28
please update?
SokushaMT 5 apr, 2021 @ 1:26
seems no longer needed(I am not sure)
yangtuoxiong 23 sep, 2020 @ 8:07
ehhh
Guluere 29 aug, 2020 @ 20:17
Outdated.
Spider 27 aug, 2020 @ 3:04
Can also confirm, the shield is floating above the planet regardless of load order.
SpaceRice 23 jun, 2020 @ 10:07
Yep second the offset broken shield
Andrew_The Golden 31 maj, 2020 @ 15:14
This mod no longer works, at least with the 2.7.2 version. The shielding is still floating above the planet even with the mod loaded correctly in the specific order under Real Space. Subscribing to the other patch in association with the same creator also does not remedy the problem. I've also tested it with different loading scenarios with or without the other mod and in higher or lower positioning in the load order. Unfortunately, does not work.
BoJack #TF2Center 25 apr, 2020 @ 12:04
As of 2.6.3 I still had the issue of planetary shields being offset from their planets (appearing above them). Using this mod patch along with 'MEM - Real Space System Scale - Planetary Shields' from the same guy fixed my issue.
Little Tee 16 apr, 2020 @ 12:14
Is there a patch to fix the star size for the orphan gate systems? Or is this a load order issue?
There are always a couple that are almost the same size as the system
zulu9812 2 apr, 2020 @ 2:58
Oh yeah, you're right. In fact, this patch was actually causing the offset. This patch is no longer necessary.
Darktrooper119 31 mar, 2020 @ 23:50
i dont think this is even necessary anymore, since RS system scale is now a separate mod
zulu9812 30 mar, 2020 @ 17:03
This doesn't seem to work any more - shields are offset from the planets.
RECKLE$$ 29 mar, 2020 @ 16:48
does this help with the off centre planet shield effect
Barnie Sandlers 27 mar, 2020 @ 12:06
Thanks my guy!
Argo753 20 mar, 2020 @ 12:41
Thanks for the update
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 20 mar, 2020 @ 12:10
Hey everyone, I just updated the mod to the new 2.6.1 version, it should work just fine.
Helios 18 mar, 2020 @ 18:16
Same question ! :)
Sjru 🐲 17 mar, 2020 @ 20:40
Will this be updated? is this still needed?
GoldenGod48 1 mar, 2020 @ 23:03
Scratch my last comment, I have a problem. Every time that I load the MEM, my game crashes. Even when it is by itself and the only mod active.
GoldenGod48 1 mar, 2020 @ 12:08
Now that real space system scale is in a seperate mod, is this necessary if i have the system scale version?
一路懵逼的黑色O_o 22 nov, 2019 @ 18:11
i need 2.6...
Årtifexian 27 okt, 2019 @ 21:52
TY!
Årtifexian 27 okt, 2019 @ 21:51
TY!
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 21 okt, 2019 @ 7:59
No worries.
Medik 21 okt, 2019 @ 5:00
That actually fixed it, thank you so much.
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 21 okt, 2019 @ 4:54
Have you tried to change the load order of the mods? Try putting the patch above the other two mods in the list and see if it works that way.
Medik 21 okt, 2019 @ 4:00
After some testing, I found the problem is occuring when running this patch, Real Space, and MEM together by themselves.
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 21 okt, 2019 @ 2:29
Hmmm... Something in your mod list must be affecting the position of your planets. As you can see in your screenshot, the scale of the shields look perfectly fine, it's just misplaced. Only way to fix it is to go through all of your mods one by one and see which one is changing the planets' orbits.
Medik 21 okt, 2019 @ 2:15
...And that probably doesn't say much... I checked for incompatibilities using Paradoxos but nothing came up that affected the shields except for this patch. I'm not sure if there's a mod I use that might've moved the planets around or something.
Medik 21 okt, 2019 @ 2:05
I have an issue where the planetary shields are sitting below planets [puu.sh] and I'm not quite sure what's causing it.
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 17 okt, 2019 @ 1:53
You only need one of the two, if you don't have Real Space System Scale enabled, use this one. If you do, use the new patch.
terminsel35 16 okt, 2019 @ 14:56
I know this is a dumb question, but do we need to use both patches, or just one or the other?
Emperor Neil  [skapare] 16 okt, 2019 @ 9:40
Hey everyone, I made a new compatibility patch for the Real Space System Scale mod, I'll keep this one updated for those who still want to use it.

Here's the link to the new patch mod: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?edit=true&id=1890983593

Moe Mod Compilation
Greetings, And thank you for the creation of this awesome mod! I love it and wish to keep playing with it. However I have a request. After the recent Megacorp update I feel as though the game went a poor direction design wise. Portrait sizes are to small and many other things. As such I am playing with version 2.1.3 before the update. If possible can I have access to the mod version that supports V 2.1.3? I have a “Moe Mod Compilation” That it is apart of that I wish to keep playing with. Thank you for your time and consideration! “ Mod Compilation link https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1526656277

Reminds me of a glitch I saw where half of a planet was sticking outside of a star. I was thinking to myself isn't there a scenario from Star Craft II involving such?
Alizia 15 jun, 2019 @ 5:30
Can you add a fix for the other bug when using MEM and Real Space ? I'm talking about the Sadrell systems.

The solar system is sometimes ended being WEIRD with 3 mega giant stars engulfing each other and the planets, filling all the system at maximum zoom.

Awesome man, thanks for that!

My pleasure.
